Ted Kautz
Theodore Kautz III grew up in Long Grove, Illinois and graduated from Stevenson High School. He then went on to Madison, WI to earn his Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin, majoring in Accounting. The majority of Ted's career has been in public accounting but he also has experience working in the private sector as well. Based on this array of experience, Ted is able to provide clients with knowledge from the viewpoint of an accountant and a business owner. After a few years in the business world, Ted went on to further his education and received his Masters of Science in Accounting. In 2010 Ted joined Wickliff & Associates and remained there until 2013 when Windward Tax Service was born. In Ted's spare time, he kiteboards, participates in triathlons, and spends time with his Rottweiler, Diesel.
Marlene Stanek
Marlene was born and raised in Chicago, attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, and started her career working for the largest commercial finance company, Walter E. Heller in downtown Chicago. She moved to the northwest suburbs (Arlington Heights) and worked for 12 years in the private field as Controller for an equine doctor (which incidentally now comes in handy when dealing with her own Fresian Mare named Kitzel) Her interests turned to the public sector and for the last 13 years has been in the Tax and Accounting business for 3 different Tax Professionals and finally settled in 2017 with Windward Tax Service in the Chicagoland area.
